モミンガスヒストリー
2001年2月
tenor saxの西野成樹の呼びかけで共に練習していた仲間同士が集まり「Theミンガス道場」として活動を開始。
当時はチャールズミンガスのカバー曲を中心として都内各所でのライブ活動を行う。
2001年6月
上野水上公園音楽堂にて初の野外イベントに出演
2001年8月
グループ 名を「Mo'mingus」に改名
2001年10月
高円寺ペンギンハウスに初出演
2002年10月
三軒茶屋グレープフルーツムーンに初出演
2002年11月
彼らが練習の寝城にしている大学の学園祭に初出演。2daysの演奏で多大な好評を得る。
2003年5月
alt saxの中谷真弥が脱退
2003年6月
原宿GABIGABIに初出演。この時からalt saxの桑原義人が加入
2003年11月
学園祭に出演
2004年2月
この時の高円寺ペンギンハウスの出演を期に、半年間の活動休止。
2004年10月
横浜ジャズプロムナードに出演。bassの加瀬大敬が加入。
